This morning I visited Halbig Bakery for the first time; it used to be called "Dickel." I was a satisfied customer of Dickel for years and therefore had certain expectations regarding quality and freshness. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed this time. I bought a filled roll that was neither visually appealing nor did it taste good. As you can see in the attached pictures, the filling consisted of just two slices of salami, half a sliced ​​egg, and a sliver of butter. No lettuce, no tomato, no cucumber—no freshness whatsoever, and no effort put into the preparation. The whole thing looked more like a hastily thrown-together emergency roll than a properly filled breakfast roll from a bakery. Especially when an existing business is taken over, one should strive to maintain the standard—here, unfortunately, the opposite seems to be the case. It's a real shame, because the potential is there.
