I bought poppy seed cake today. It was bone dry with hardly any poppy seeds. Disappointing. I won't be buying anything there again. I've been shopping at Moos for years and have noticed that the quality has been steadily declining while the prices have been rising. No thanks. I much prefer the small, local bakeries.

On December 22, 2025, I bought bread rolls at the Moos bakery branch in the Edeka supermarket in Blumenrod (Limburg) around 8 a.m. There were only about five rolls on display – that already made me suspicious. By evening, the rolls were extremely dry and crumbly; they disintegrated like breadcrumbs when touched and were inedible. I reported the incident to the head office in Aßlar by email that same day, but I haven't received any response to this day. It's a shame; the quality used to be better. I can't recommend Moos bakery at the moment. I'm very disappointed with Moos bakery.

Today I bought a loaf of bread at the Moos branch in the Forum shopping center (wz). They sliced ​​it for me upon request. When I got home, I discovered that the bread was still very warm; consequently, the entire plastic bag was foggy and the slices of bread inside were completely shredded. I had to throw the whole loaf away. I sent a complaint to Moos, but received no response. I guess that was my last time shopping at Moos.
