Everything was fine at the front bar area. But in the dining room at the back, time seems to have stopped. The lamps behind the wood paneling were covered in cobwebs, and the toilet looked like it was from 1960. The toilet paper holder was covered in verdigris, and the tissue dispenser was rusty. The food, however, was good.

A surprisingly cozy and friendly café in the old town, which, unlike many in the neighborhood, opens early in the morning. I really enjoyed the nostalgic atmosphere. The filter coffee and croissant were very good. I deducted one star because of the antiquated restrooms, but you don't usually spend much time in them anyway.

The Wetzlar chocolates taste okay, but they're far too expensive for what you get. The cleanliness in the shop leaves much to be desired, and the overall atmosphere isn't very inviting. It's a real shame, as there's a lot of potential there. The restrooms are not only outdated but also filthy, and the smell is awful... I'd expect to find something like that near a train station...
