The building maintenance service is beyond incompetent. Paid services are not provided, and what is actually done is utterly shoddy: - The breeding and nesting season is completely ignored. Sure, light pruning is acceptable so that pathways aren't obstructed, but on purely grassy areas without paths, bushes are cut back to the stump and trees are trimmed from April to October. This has already been reported to the Gießen Office for the Environment and Nature. - Young trees were simply sawn off below the crown; several of these trees haven't sprouted new growth in two years. Congratulations. - Using a leaf blower, they spend 20 minutes trying to blow three wet leaves 200 meters away (no exaggeration), apparently they have nothing better to do. - Do you have a narrow strip of grass in front of the house, in front of the bushes, where dandelions and other spring flowers are in full bloom? No problem, Bruß Building Maintenance will take care of it and remove the blossoms with a brush cutter (no, unfortunately, this isn't a joke). - Brush cutters are often used vertically to turn a blanket of greenery into a dreary brown surface of earth, where instead of plants, you can only see cigarette butts and other trash. All to save time by not having to go over it with the lawnmower. But that time is needed to chase away the one or two leaves with the leaf blower.

The company does a really great job. In the event of water damage, they're always readily available and ready to help. The employees are also all very friendly, and the work is always done properly.
