When I went to see Dr. Fernau and started to explain my illness, I was met with sentences like, "Can you speak German?" or "Were you born here?". Even when I was with him as an interpreter with patients, he behaved in a racist manner and did not really listen to the patient. He is a "doctor" who makes racist remarks about patients of foreign origin or does not treat them properly in the first place. When I went there with a bad cold and fever, I was told, "What should I do now?" Such statements are unprofessional. The lady at the reception is often not nice and does not let you finish what you are saying. Not recommended! The only good thing about the doctor is that there are two other general practitioners you can see - thank you very much for that! And Dr. Uffelmann, he is very nice and caring.
