The Helma Eigenheimbau show home park in Lehrte isn't the biggest, but that's precisely what makes it so appealing. Visitors aren't overwhelmed by the selection; there's still room for their own ideas, which they can later discuss in a consultation. We ended up building with Helma and were, and still are, completely satisfied with both the consultation and the construction. Any minor flaws, which are almost always present in a custom-made, handcrafted home, were quickly rectified. There were definitely one or two things that could have been done or communicated better, but hey, nobody's perfect. Overall, we're now happy and content with our little house :-)

We received a very warm welcome from the staff today and were able to look at all the HELMA houses. It was well worth it; you can get a great impression of the different house designs and gather ideas. I think it's absolutely worthwhile for people who are still unsure about many things.
