If you want to take your child to the doctor to have their health insurance card scanned so the health insurance company can bill you, then this doctor is highly recommended and particularly competent! However, I would only go there with a seriously ill child if you plan to get a second opinion afterward from an even more competent colleague who has a practice and can provide treatment and information if necessary. Or you could skip this step and go to a different pediatrician from the start. We went there, and I can only believe all the negative reviews! I've never left a doctor's office so frustrated and angry, and my child wasn't even examined for the reason we were there. After a normal greeting from the doctor, my questions about my child's health were met only with arrogant chatter, dismissive remarks, and, as I later discovered, even untruths, but no answers. I had no expectations and was still disappointed. But the practice staff is very nice 😊

Lacking alternatives, we had to visit this practice several times, but we never felt taken seriously. Parental concerns are ignored or ridiculed; there is no trace of empathy. Today's incident, however, was unacceptable: When our 18-month-old daughter cried with fear, the doctor grabbed her arm so tightly that it turned red. He reacted rudely to my comment. My wife was then spoken to harshly, told to "leave the country," and threatened with the withholding of important documents. His justification for his lack of friendliness: He "didn't have time to say hello." Compared to the wonderful pediatricians we experienced in Marburg, this doctor seems rushed, cold, and joyless in his work. Anyone seeking respectful and empathetic treatment for their child should definitely avoid this practice.
